Buddy Danie and the other feller

We done chose wisely stayin put for three days…

Sunday was glorious and the weather was going to reveal that which we’ve missed due to fog over the past few days.

Couple tough climbs out of St. Martins to begin the day. Had to walk one of them
And then we meet up with Emery and Danie halfway along the Fundy Trail Parkway
They warned us about the climbs would face along the way
and they weren’t kidding
Looking back from whence we came
Lunch break where I almost burned down the picnic table
Entering the National Park (and still smiling)

After a quick water break we climb through the park to the 366m elevation sign and from there, over three kilometres, we descend precipitously to our campsite (Maximum speed today was 70km/h)

Halfway down to the sea…
Where Charles had nabbed the best site overlooking the wharf at Alma
Nine and a half metre tides! It just blows my mind. Somehow the boat owners manage to rest the craft on blocks at low tide

Thoughts?
