Fence building

Okay so technically not travel related although I have biked to the job site on several occasions. Here is a photo blog of a fence technique I’ve used at a friend’s place in Ottawa. They were affected by the 2018 Ottawa tornado.

I have seen too many rotten 4×4 posts on fences less than ten years old and wanted to try something that may prove stronger than wood and less prone to rot. Here we go:

The plan is to replace four sections and three posts. The play toys have supported the fence through the winter
