Huntsville

Both of us are pleased with a day off from the bikes. A perfect opportunity to do our laundry.

Huntsville has six cannabis dispensaries so here’s an idea: let’s get some edibles then go do the laundry!

Next thing I know, we’re outside the laundromat waiting for our clothes and Chuck is waxing on about the intricacies of dryer vent technology. From this point on life is a combination of laughter and paranoia.

This is actually before ingestion

Also, Chuck was responsible for getting our clothes but he was unwilling to stay and dry them.

Felix and Oscar’s motel room

The Huntsville Inn was a very interesting place. We had a long chat with the owner who seems to know many of the other proprietors of motels in the area. Super nice man who along with his family work hard and have kept the place up to date and clean.

The other guests are quite the eclectic group:

  1. Family of four where the parents spent most of their time vaping on the balcony.
  2. The elder east European couple who seemed very much in love.
  3. A beautiful young family with the gorgeous mixed race children who wanted to engage with us (but the mom knew better)
  4. And finally, a couple from New Zealand (she was a kiwi and he was originally from London Ontario). They were doing a final tour of Ontario prior to heading back home. I think she would have spoke to us forever but he was anxious to hit the road.

We’ve both been enjoying the roadside motels very much.

Thoughts?
