In an attempt to extend the summer we’ve decided to try an over-nighter bike trip to Murphy’s Point Provincial Park. Who is we you ask?
Charles, Bill and I
Charles and I have known each other since our daughters played on the same ringette team about ten years ago. There is a very cool coincidence in how Bill and Chuck became acquainted: Bill, as you may know, has a blog that has been documenting his preparation for a cross-country cycle. Chuck noticed the site because Tanya was following it. He noticed a reference to me on Bill’s blog and reached out to Bill. Tanya, Bill and I worked together at Agriculture Canada and played on the same softball team back in the nineties. And get this, Tanya is Joanne’s (Chuck’s wife) sister. And just to cement that it’s a small world: Joanne and Tanya grew up on a farm across the street from one of Bill’s places in Kenmore.
